An oak eight day longcase clock, signed Jno Harrison, Newcastle, circa 1770 Hood with some moulding missing around the top frieze and the front arch moulding, case with some small scratch marks, plinth with scuff marks and chips, dial is discoloured, movement is dirty, movement looks complete, central date hand is moving correctly, later minute hand, movement not tested for its working condition, with two weights and a pendulum.
~ An oak thirty hour longcase clock, signed Joe Batty, Halifax, mid-18th century, dial chapter ring signed, dial centre with a ''Halifax moon'' and date apertures12'' dial. Case is slightly faded in parts, some cracks to the trunk sides, later re-built plinth, dial is clean, movement is dirty but complete, with pendulum, no weight.
An oak thirty hour longcase clock, square brass dial with silvered chapter ring signed G Ewbank, Elland, dial centre with penny moon and lunar apertures, possibly later case Dial size is 12 1/4 ''. Case has been polished and restored to a good standard, later feet, dial is discoloured, later wooden side cheeks, later movement seatboard, possibly in a later case, movement looks complete, with pendulum and one weight.

A SCOTTISH GEORGE III MAHOGANY LONGCASE CLOCK BY CHARLES SHEDDEN, PERTH MID-19TH CENTURY the circular painted dial inscribed CHAS. SHEDDEN/ PERTH, with twin train movement above baluster shaped trunk on panelled base with bracket feet 219cm high Note: Charles Shedden (1813 - 1871) was a clock and watchmaker active in Perth in the mid-19th century. He was a journeyman with Colin Croll, and worked in London with McCabe & Strachan, Royal Exchange, before returning to his native Perth.

An early George III pollard oak eight day longcase clock, the caddy top above 12 inch brass dial inscribed 'Foden, Congleton' with date arched aperture above long shaped door, rounded quarter pillars to a plinth base, height approx 210cm.Thomas Foden of Congleton is registered as working in the town between 1753 and 1785.Additional InformationThis is a good honest clock which has not had any repair over the years, apart from a couple of minor pieces of spliced wood to the carcass. It does however require attention, the wood on the right hand side of the plinth base has lifted, there is a split to both the base and the door. Some old signs of woodworm to the back panels which are heavily worn in parts. There are some knocks and small sections missing and done a long time ago to the upright pillars. The Dial movement and case look as if they have been together since day one. The clock is sold with winding key, case key, pendulum and two weights.
A 1940s walnut veneered Art Deco longcase clock with silver dial set with Arabic numerals and triple weight movement, height 192cm, sold with pendulum and three weights.Additional InformationSomebody has put tape across the dial, there are a few surface scratches to the dial, a few small flecks of loss to the veneer on the raised parts, surface scratches, chroming good to the weights, basically ok.
A good 19th century mahogany and marquetry inlaid eight day longcase clock with musical mechanism, the altered and associated arched brass dial set with Roman and Arabic numerals and rolling moon phase, the trunk with carved detail to quarter columns above plinth base to bracket feet, height approx 235cm. Additional InformationSome lifting, cracking, splitting etc to veneer throughout, some replaced sections, both hands replacements, has lost the section of cornice below the hood on the left hand side, feet section probably replaced, the feet damaged with one completely missing the lowest section having been replaced with a wooden block. Dial earlier, associated to case. The musical mechanism not currently functioning.
WILLIAM COULTON OF YORK; a George II mahogany longcase clock, with a square brass face, the silvered chapter ring set with Roman and Arabic numerals, inscribed maker's name, height approx 216cm.Additional InformationDial and movement likely associated to the case, slight warping to the door, few old repairs to the plinth and woodwork, dial has been cleaned and has left surface marks around it with fine scratches to the chapter ring also.

CORNFORTH OF MACCLESFIELD; an early 19th century oak and mahogany longcase clock with broken swan neck pediment and brass finial above circular repainted dial set with Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture with scenes of ruins to corners, the trunk with carved quarter columns above plinth base on bracket feet, height 216cm.Additional InformationNot tested, no guarantee of working order, dial repainted as stated, hands replacements, splits, cracks, lifting to the veneer, some losses and chips also, various repairs and replacements, split through panel to base, further splits at sides, general wear and tear throughout.

CONDITION REPORT Craquelure to the dial, runs well when set up, striking on bell. Some shrinkage to the case, lifting to the cross banding.

A 19thC oak and mahogany longcase clock, with swan neck pedimented hood, painted arched dial with floral spandrels, surmounted by birds, nest and eggs, flanked by fluted columns above a shaped long trunk door, on a block base, inlaid with diamond patera, the 28cm W, painted Roman numeric dial, signed, Deacon Barton, with date aperture, 30 hour movement, 112cm H.N.B. The Barton family of clockmakers are from Barton in the Beans, Leicestershire.
