An attractive Mahogany cased longcase Clock having a swan pediment, the arched painted face having a scene of a Scots couple with a boat on a river with wooded banks, the corners with depictions of castles and follies, the face with Roman numerals, inset date register and seconds face marked ''F.J. Wild, Dundee'', the eight day movement (running at the time of cataloguing) striking the hours on a bell, 20 1/8'' max wide x 10 5/8'' deep x 84 1/8'' high. Winder present.
A George III mahogany cased longcase clock, surmounted by brass finials, the arched brass twelve inch dial, with strike silent, subsidiary seconds dial and calendar niche, signed George Prior, London, having an eight day movement striking on a bell, 236cm highThe movement is free and moves correctly. Has both weights. Pendulum is present , but has a repair to the stem. One gilt metal capital is missing to one rear pillar on the hood. Door is warped, so will not close correctly and has no key. The case is well figures and of good quality manufacture. The door has some splits in the grain. One of the mouldings under the hood is loose. Was collected from a house move in Essex.

Columns loose. Plinth replaced. Split to trunk door re-glued and stabilised. General typical cosmetic marks and signs of age and use to case. Dial fair to good with some minor wear to chapter ring.Sub seconds hand missing. Movement appears intact. not tested or seen to be running.

George III and fruitwood inlaid longcase clock, by John Foster, Lincoln, with white painted arched enamel dial and twin train movement, 216cm high, with pendulum and two weightsGeneral overall condition is good, movement is clean and appears to be in working order, however, we have not had it going. Although the movement appears original to the case, the cheeks appear to have been replaced and the movement slightly raised and the dial fits the opening but we cannot confirm categorically they started life together. The dial is dirty and worn in places, some enamel is chipped. Case is quite good, dirty, with some minor damage to veneer. Hood door is very stiff and locking bolt is missing completely. Weights and pendulum are present and as they came in, we cannot confirm if they are original.
Early 19th century 8 day longcase clock with silvered arched dial signed Stewart - Glasgow, inlaid mahogany case with two weights and pendulum, 230cm highMovement is dirty and does not appear to have been running recently, we are unable to confirm if it is in full working order. Seat board has been relaced and both cheeks have been reduced. Silvering on dial is worn, hands have been painted black and hour hand is bent. Overall, case is good, there is a small nick to the top edge of the trunk door, hood glass is cracked and door does not open easily , left barley twist column is loose. There is an old gong fitted to the back board and the movement does not appear original to the case.
