Case is nicely aged throughout, gilt painted scenes are discoloured, case with cracks, chips and rubbing in parts, some surfaces feel dry and some shrinkage to the paint, door mouldings with splits, base with scuff marks, dial is slightly discoloured, movement is clean, with two weights and a pendulum.

Case with a later built caddy pediment, case needs restoration throughout, hood door with later hinges, wooden dial surround is later, hood with chips and cracks to veneers and some veneers are missing, trunk door with cracks to the top and bottom sides, half of the trunk door moulded edges are missing, plinth has been re-built, backboard is patched to the top and bottom sides, dial is dirty, movement with one dial foot not locating into the movement front plate, movement needs cleaning, with two weights and a pendulum.
