A Georgian oak longcase clock, the brass dial engraved Tipton Ludlow, 206cm highThe pendulum is broken and lost its suspension. The seat board is broken, all in need of restoration. Both lower pillars have been cut to allow chain movement. However, the movement and dial seem to fit. holes in the hood frieze- they look to be deliberate. Hands are missing.

It does operate and strike, but looks to have been left for some time and would definitely be in need of a service or the attention of a clockmaker. The case has some split and loose veneer. General knocks and wear. The movement and case are possibly not original to one another. This is a four-pillar movement.
