Dial false plate and moon roller dial are signed - Finnemore Birmingham. Dial is dirty and enamelling crazed. Some damage to enamel along edges. Scuff in centre of dial between winding holes. Pendulum and weights present. Case is in quite good condition. Top of trunk door is damaged and stone finial is not original. Plinth front panel is cracked in places and veneer has been replaced in two places and veneer has been replaced in two places. One verre eglomisé panel is cracked and top right panel has piece missing

Dial is dirty and enamelling crazed. Some damage to lower left corner. Hour hand cracked. Minute hand broken and missing. One brass winding hole surround missing. Weights and pendulum present. Case in good condition. Trunk door cracked in two places. Hood pediment damaged

Late nineteenth century French miniature longcase clock with spring-driven movement and lever escapement, white enamel fluted dial with Roman numerals and Arabic minute scale, in a Louis XIV revival kingwood case with classical gilt metal mounts and chicken finial, on four foliate feet, 55cm overall height CONDITION REPORT General overall condition very good. Movement is clean but escapement is a replacement. As far as we can tell dial and movement are original but we have not had movement out of the case. Dial has some damage to enamel between X and XII. We cannot say if the movement is in full working order. Case is in excellent condition, although metalwork is dirty
