George III and fruitwood inlaid longcase clock, by John Foster, Lincoln, with white painted arched enamel dial and twin train movement, 216cm high, with pendulum and two weightsGeneral overall condition is good, movement is clean and appears to be in working order, however, we have not had it going. Although the movement appears original to the case, the cheeks appear to have been replaced and the movement slightly raised and the dial fits the opening but we cannot confirm categorically they started life together. The dial is dirty and worn in places, some enamel is chipped. Case is quite good, dirty, with some minor damage to veneer. Hood door is very stiff and locking bolt is missing completely. Weights and pendulum are present and as they came in, we cannot confirm if they are original.
Early 19th century 8 day longcase clock with silvered arched dial signed Stewart - Glasgow, inlaid mahogany case with two weights and pendulum, 230cm highMovement is dirty and does not appear to have been running recently, we are unable to confirm if it is in full working order. Seat board has been relaced and both cheeks have been reduced. Silvering on dial is worn, hands have been painted black and hour hand is bent. Overall, case is good, there is a small nick to the top edge of the trunk door, hood glass is cracked and door does not open easily , left barley twist column is loose. There is an old gong fitted to the back board and the movement does not appear original to the case.

JOSEPH FINNEY OF LIVERPOOL; a George III mahogany thirty hour longcase clock, the broken arched pediment above printed linen panel, above 12" square brass dial, the chapter ring set with Roman and Arabic numerals, with applied moulded figures to the corners, centred with subsidiary seconds hand and date aperture, bearing the maker's details to the lower banding, above a shaped door, flanked by reeded quarter pilasters and stepped plinth to squat bracket feet, height 233cm. CONDITION REPORT: The rope has snapped on the movement, although the large weight and the ballast weight are present. There is wear to the inner edge of the pendulum door. The front right bracket foot is missing its outer skin. The moulded panel to the base is also loose.
