~ A Walnut Longcase Clock, arched pediment, trunk and base with well figured veneers and crossbanding, later 15-inch arch brass dial, arch bearing a later inscription George Willson Swalwell, large five pillar movement with an anchor escapement and inside countwheel striking on a bell, later dial, 240cm high 10.12.19 Case surfaces are faded, case with chips and scratches in parts, some mouldings are loose and some veneers are missing in parts, case needs restoration, dial is dirty, sides of the dial have been extended with extra brass strips added, seconds dial aperture does not line up with the seconds arbor, pendulum rod has come off the pendulum bob and needs repairing, with two weights and a pendulum. Pendulum needs repairing.
