THOMAS MEAR, DURSLEY - A 19th century 8-day oak cased longcase clock, the 12" enamel and hand painted dial featuring a moon phase and 2 subsidiary dials. Overall dimensions 50x222x25cm.Hood has a swan pediment which is damaged, and if repaired will increase the height. Some pitting to the enamel, with a small section of loss near the 3 o'clock position. Moon phase painting is rubbed in places. Scratch from centre of dial into the 4 o'clock position.
