An oak and mahogany crossbanded longcase clock, early 19th century, the broken scroll swan neck pediment with brass terminals above an arched glazed door flanked by turned pilasters, enclosing a 14" white painted enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture marked Rob Morris Stone, painted with rustic housing to the corners and farm workers in the arch, eight-day movement striking on a bell above a double pointed arched top trunk door centred by a boxwood and harewood conche shell motif between fluted quarter pilasters over a raised tablet, cushion moulding and further raised tablet base board, distressed, 85" high
