A Regency mahogany four tier graduated hanging shelf unit, with wired sides. Width 95 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The shelves are structurally sound. All timber is original. All roundels are original and present. The top three shelves are in good order with only the usual old ring and minor watermarks. The lower shelf has a small loss to the rear right at the centre of the back by the back where it would meet the wall. There is a 2 cm square loss and a similar sized loose section. The wirework is in generally good order. There are no issues with the three left panels. The top right-hand panel is in good order, the middle panel has one 2 cm wire loss. The bottom wire panel has no losses but two pieces of wire are loose.

CONDITION REPORT: This is a good quality reproduction bookcase and probably no more than 30 years old. The shelf depth to the centre section is 33 cm. The depth of the shelves in the side sections is 21.5 cm. The bookcase splits into three sections for transportation.The bookcase is in extremely good condition with no issues.

Lot 1722

A Victorian mahogany dumbwaiter, rectangular, three tier and raised on turned legs with brass castors. Width 120 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The dumbwaiter is structurally sound with no loose joints. All finials are present. The top two shelves do not have any cracks. The bottom shelf has a stress fracture running for approximately 40 cm. There is however no movement and the shelf is flat. In our opinion this is not an issue. All turnings and legs are in good condition. All castors are original. We can see no evidence of any woodworm. Each tier has the usual old marks and imperfections as one would expect.
