Taxidermy: A Victorian Cased Squacco Heron (Ardeola ralloides), a full mount adult stood upon a rectangualr shelf, set against a blue painted interior, enclosed within an ebonised single-glass table display case, with gilt painted moulding, 43.5cm by 19.5cm by 51cm, mounted very much in the manner of North East Taxidermist's such as Robert Duncan and Joseph Cullingford, each adopted this simple, clean, yet very effective process of letting the natural beauty of the specimen show, and not be overpowered by a cluttered interior.

The arch topped dial with silvered chapter ring beneath subsidiary dials for chime/silent, fast slow and Cambridge or 8 bells chimes, with a tablet 'J.C. Turner 142 St John Station Road, London. With a three train movement striking on eight bells and five coiled gongs. The elaborate ebonised and gilt metal mounted case surmounted by a figure of Mercury, with heavy carrying handles, pierced side panels and fluted columns, 94cm high, 44cm wide and 32cm deep, on a matching wall shelf with presentation plaque commemorating the marriage of Loftus Balfour Moreton Esq dated 1891.
A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH MARBLE TOPPED SIDEBOARD. The veined black marble top with inverted break front beneath a broad rectangular mirror, amboyna veneered shelf with gilt gallery, on gilt uprights. The base with a central mirror backed recess between glazed cupboard doors flanked by ebonised columns, on a platform base with moulded edges, 157cm high, 214cm wide and 51cm deep.
