A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH EBONISED, TORTOISESHELL AND BRASS INLAID TABLE TOP LIQUEUR BOX, of domed form, hinged lid and hinged sides openings to reveal a shelf of six gilt glasses, above a lift out tray containing three decanters and nine glasses with space for a further three, the lock mount named 'TAHAN FT, 30 Rue de la Paix, A Paris', width 32.5cm x depth 23cm x height 25cm (condition: tortoiseshell inlay missing in places, no key, the handle on the right hand side of the box is missing and both hinged sides show evidence of the handles being moved or replaced due to further holes, three glasses missing, one stopper and one decanter are replacements, all gilding worn from the decanters, one of the stoppers is chipped on the base)
