A William IV hallmarked sterling silver entrée dish by SW & Co, with retailer's mark 'Wordley & Mayer' and monogram 'T' for Colonel Robert Trimble, approx 52ozt, on original Old Sheffield Plate hot water stand, with scrolling acanthus handles and stylised floral scroll feet, Old Sheffield Plate hand mark to the base and with shelf heating plate, height 20.5cm, width 37.5cm. CONDITION REPORT Approx 52ozt.Light surface scratches throughout, lid warped and not sitting properly on dish, plated base has areas of base metal showing through. Approx 1mm gap side to side on the lid. The dish sits perfectly in the warming stand.

CONDITION REPORT Knocks and marks to both commensurate with age, no obvious signs of significant damage or repair.
