An Edwardian Satin Walnut Chiffonier, the upstand with six bevelled mirrors and turned spindle details, the base with a central frieze drawer and cupboard having a painted scene of nesting birds and with canted corner shelves to either side, and the bottom a shelf with turned spindle upstand, 54'' wide x 16'' deep x 68 1/4'' high.

Ballard (J. G.) Initially controversial, Crash is now regarded as a landmark work of postmodern fiction.

Saint-Exupéry (Antoine de) The Little Prince, first English edition, illustrations by the author, light spotting, original cloth, slight shelf-lean, dust-jacket, lower 1/3 of spine supplied in very good facsimile, head of spine and corners a little chipped, faint spotting or marking to panels, light rubbing to fore-edges, but in effect an excellent example, 4to, 1944.

The Secret People, first edition, foxing, marginal abrasion to pp. 124-5, p. 129 with toning to margin, light browning to half title and final text p., original first issue red cloth, spine lettered in gilt, slight shelf-lean, rubbed, light finger-soiling, dust-jacket priced at 2/6, spine ends and corners a little chipped, light spotting and surface soiling, short nick with creasing to head and foot of lower panel, but overall an excellent example of a rare jacket, 8vo, [1935].⁂ Wyndham's second novel and his first attempt at science fiction. Exceptionally rare in the dust-jacket, we can trace no other example at auction.

Along with Francis Crick and Rosalind Franklyn, Watson was responsible for one of the greatest scientific breakthroughs of the 20th century.
