A Gordon Russell of Broadway teak 'Double Helix' sideboard: model R407 designed by David Booth and Judith Ledeboer for Gordon Russell; circa 1950/60s (originally designed 1951); the routed cupboard panels enclosing compartmentalised felt-lined cutlery drawer (top right) and middle shelf behind left-hand door; Gordon Russell of Broadway plaque to rear; short slightly tapering square legs. (LWH 122 x 46 x 84 cm)* Condition: Original maker's label to the back. Good, original condition overall (has not been re-polished), with some fading to the colour to the top, right hand side and right hand door to the front. The top has a tiny patch of small scratches to the front left corner, two faint, lightly indented scratches to the back left and a patch of darker spots to the polish to the front right. A few knocks and dings to edges of the front legs and to the moulding above the doors. The left hand door has a long, light horizontal scratch approx. 2in below the top edge. Original handles, the door catches work crisply. Both doors have a darker patch to the colour towards the top centre, which are 'handling' marks where the doors have been pushed closed by hand over the years. The interior has some ring marks to the right hand side from bottles. The brown lining to canteen drawer in VGC.

A George III japanned bowfront hanging corner cupboard: the shaped gallery top with single upper shelf; two doors decorated with three figures on horseback and a variety of birds in a wooded landscape and pierced brass butterfly hinges; three-shelf interior painted in the original blue and gilt; shallow hollow plinth. (LWH 59 x 39.5 x 113 cm)* Condition: Largely original condition - some small retouches to lacquer and has been varnished at some stage many years ago - the lacquer beneath has old surface dirt throughout. There are some small flakes from the lacquer showing the white gesso beneath the doors and edges. The interior has original painted finish to shelves but the inside of the doors and back panels have been later painted in a slightly lighter blue - this paint is flaking to the inside of the doors. The doors have a working lock with key and close cleanly and securely. Later black painted finished to the shelved gallery top and there are old shrinkage cracks and chips to the top of the cupboard.
A retro 1960s formica and buttoned white vinyl home bar: the black formica top over a buttoned, padded white vinyl front and black formica 'step' plinth, the reverse with four open shelves and a full height cupboard with a single shelf interior, 150.5cm wide, 62.5cm deep, 103.5cm high, complete with chrome optics stand and various accessories including a novelty pear ice bucket, two 'Cherry-B' ice buckets, two soda syphons and a Watney's Red Barrel plastic lam with shade.
