A 20th century German cuckoo clock, with stag surmount and hanging game, with weights and pendulum, 49cm high, a novelty mantel clock modelled as an owl, 24cm high and a mahogany wall shelf with carved scroll bracket support, 51cm high (3) CONDITION REPORT: The owl clock is stained pine, general rubbing and some small nicks to the base. not guaranteed to be in full working order.
An oak Dickens style desk, the rectangular top with two end towers, each set two drawers with blind galleries centring a shelf topped with a balustrade of inverted bobbin turned supports over an opening writing slope with leather skiver and similar reserves to each side over one long and two short drawers, the whole on two pedestals or three short drawers on a plain plinth, 103cm high x 137cm wide x 73cm deep
A 19th Century French walnut armoire, the shaped upper frieze with floral medallion decoration over two cupboard doors and similarly decorated apron on squat cabriole supports, 125 cm wide x 210 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Numerous surface scratches, scuffs and cracks to the wood. Evidence of old worm to the legs and to the cornice and top of the armoire. Chips and areas of loss to the wood. Old repairs to one of the hinges. Some staining, fading and discoloration. Also there is what appears to be residual white paint on the front of the two doors. There are replacement knobs to two of the drawers on the inside. There is also evidence of new woodworm to the shelf on the inside. Evidence of old worm to both of the doors. Unsure if the escutcheons are original to the piece as there is no hole for a key in one of them and also bizarrely cut for the key. Some of the wooden dowels or pegs are missing. There are areas of loss to the wood on all drawers on the inside. Item has wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for more details.
A mid Victorian figures mahogany secretaire bookcase, the upper section under a moulded cornice, shelved and enclosed by two hinged, glazed doors with moulded glazing bars over secretaire fitted two pigeon holes and six short drawers with fall front and writing surface, this over a fitted cupboard base having three pull out shelves, open shelf over a deep bottle drawer with original lead lining enclosed by two panel doors with column pilasters and supported on a plain plinth, 36in w, 80in h.
