Primitive nail heads are visible at the joins and there is very old coopered repair at the right hand side which may in fact be part of the original construction. The top turned pillar is different to the remaining eight turned front pillars which are all similar. They do however all appear to be of the same age. The middle shelf rear pillars are both of different construction. The rear pillars on the bottom shelf are also of different construction and there are two further holes behind this which may have been for other pillars. The bottom shelf is however deeper than shelves two and three although all shelves are constructed in the same manner.
