19th Century Italian ebonised parcel gilt and pietra dura corner cabinet of serpentine fronted design with carved frieze over cupboard door inlaid with a bird and foliate scroll work enclosing a shelf between hardstone panels of fruit, the lower section having twin doors, each with conforming scroll work, 84cm x 60cm x 127cm high. Provenance - A descendant of the Capel Cure family of Overdeben, Woodbridge Suffolk where this lot is mentioned in a hand written inventory dated 20th June 1935 on page 2 as '1 Florentine Corner Cabinet with carved and gilt enrichment £21-0-0

ADDITION TO DESCRIPTION Large Wooden Photographers Chest, Marked H G Ponting. Approx size 60x30x28cms. A heavy item with fragile contents, including a folding safelight, developing dishes, drying frame etc and various chemical and empty bottles. The contents of the chest are commensurate with those of a photographer working around the turn of the 20th century but it has not been possible to verify any provenance for this item, but we note that one bottle bears a label mentioning "The Camera Club" in London of which Ponting (1870 - 1935) was a long-standing member. WARNING. Please do not open any bottles as not all contents are marked. (On shelf).

A Pair of MASSIVE Wooden Tripods (Probably by Vinten). Large and medium versions (condition 6, but practically indestructible!) Also a HUGE, damped video head (paint wear and some rusting to chrome parts) suitable for use on either tripod.
