2011 Range Rover Vogue SE Believed To Be Ex-Royal Fleet Transmission: automaticMileage:123654There can be few cars that are as well-known and iconic as the mighty Range Rover. Launched in 1970 and built in the UK, this leader in the 4x4 field is now on its fifth incarnation. Enjoyed by Royalty and celebrities alike, the Range Rover is both aspirational and practical. The car has been described as 'the best 4x4 by far' and has been the winner of numerous awards. This example began its life in 2011 as a part of the Royal fleet, being supplied and serviced early on by the Vehicle Operations department at Gaydon and having some warranty work carried out by Land Rover Aberdeen "“ close to Balmoral. This example is fitted with the rear extra grab handles, something the late HM Queen Elizabeth II would always specify, to aid her getting in and out of Range Rovers. It was also without a parcel shelf when our vendor purchased the car, a dog guard was fitted instead, again something which would always be specified. Glass sunroof, retractable side steps and mudflaps are also fitted. To add to the rear comfort even further, this example was specified with heated and air-conditioned electric rear seating. Ordered of course in Galway Green with Sand leather interior, this 4.4 litre V8 example boasts air suspension, and the car is currently with its fifth owner with none of the previous aware of what could have been such illustrious beginnings.Upon requesting details from the DVLA, the vendor has been refused any previous keeper's details, the same situation arose when details of the specific modifications were requested from Land Rover, they did not wish to speak about the car. The gallery shows an image of the late HM Queen Elizabeth II on a visit to a university, though it is hard to make out which one it is from the slightly grainy photo. The photo shows the Range Rover behind the late HM Queen Elizabeth II with the rear door about to be shut and the Queen appears to be walking away from the vehicle, giving a very strong chance of it being the one she travelled in for the visit. The earlier mentioned grab handles on the inner rear B pillars are believed to be unique to the late HM Queen Elizabeth II's Range Rovers, due to her insistence of no assistance from staff when entering and exiting the car thus the handles along with the side steps enabled comfortable entry for a lady who would have been in her mid 80's at the time. The car now is in very good order. Having covered less than 124,000 miles from new, the service history is comprehensive, listed below.12/03/2013 @ 3738 miles - Vehicle Operations Gaydon28/02/2014 @ 19,339 miles - Pentland Land Rover Perth 24/11/2014 @ 36,370 miles - Pentland Land Rover Perth 23/11/2015 @ 53,004 miles - Pentland Land Rover Perth 15/06/2016 @ 69,324 miles - Gordon Lamb Land Rover Chesterfield 11/09/2017 @ 78,979 miles - Grange Land Rover Swindon 16/09/2019 @ 110,280 miles - Morgan Cars NI 13/01/2022 @ 119,125 miles - Marshall and Son Ltd26/04/2023 @ 123,151 miles "“ Marrion 4x4Guide Price: £25,000 - £35,000
