A CASED .177 SPORTSMATCH GC2 CUSTOM PRE-CHARGED PNEUMATIC AIR RIFLE WITH JOHN WELHAM STOCK, serial no. 066, manufactured in 1988, with 25 3/4in. blued barrel including muzzle-break, blued receiver with make and model etched on the left hand face in gilt and with integral telescopic sight rail, twist and pull bolt and push cocking piece at rear, unique walnut anatomical right hand three-quarter stock designed and produced by John Welham with adjustable Tyrolean cheek-piece, adjustable butt-pad, adjustable palm-shelf, finger-grooved grip and chequered knuckle platform to the fore-end, inlet brass decorative side-plate and large inlet escutcheon to heel of grip, blued under-barrel reservoir (tested), fitted with a custom Leupold Premier 6.5-20x40 telescopic sight restricted to between 8-20 power and fitted with a fine wire and dot reticule, custom Sportsmatch mounts with gilt screws, in an abs plastic Gun Guard transit case.

Impressive Late 19th Century North American carved walnut side cabinet of monumental proportions, with a shallow arched pediment with acorns and oak leaves, centred by a flower and flanked by 2 urns with leaves and berries, above a frieze with a beaver in relief with leaves and floral enrichments and flanked by bulrushes and flowers, a bevelled mirror back flanked by 2 galleried shelves, the lower with a descending staircase, the right side with a galleried shelf and display cabinet below enclosed by a bevelled glazed door, supported by turned columns, the breakfront base with 3 drawers with spring locks, deeper drawer and 4 panelled doors below, and floral decoration, on a plinth base, 276 x 192 x 78cm approx., (possibly an exhibition piece)
