A good Ercol three piece modular Lounge Unit comprising two door cabinet with upper single pane glazed doors over lower single panel, similar single door cabinet and shelf over single panel door cabinet, over flight of four drawers, all with distinctive oval wooden knobs, the knobs on the glazed cabinets turning, 72 3/4'' wide x 84 1/2'' high x 12 3/4'' deep.
A mid century 1960's John Piper coffee table. This table was made for Heals and has a Formica top showing London scenes of the artists work. They depict both St Pauls and St Martins In The Fields. Raised on metal legs with a black magazine shelf under. Measures 35cms high x 114cm wide x 38cms deep.
An oak roll top desk, the tambour front enclosing a selection of open compartments and drawers, the whole raised on plinths containing four drawers CONDITION REPORTS The centre drawer is present as is the vanity panel, however not in situ. There is a key present. The rolltop does not appear to be working, one side has come out of its' runner, unsure if this is the only problem. Height to back is approximately 131 cm, width 1550 cm and depth is 96 cm. Has general wear and tear, surface scatches etc. and there is also a large split to the back left hand side and one of the joints is coming apart. There is a knock to the top shelf. In need of a clean and some TLC. There is some bubbling/splitting to the veneer on the right hand side pedestal. See images for further details
A five section oak Globe-Wernicke bookcase bearing label "The Globe-Wernicke Co Ltd, Office and Library Furnishers, London" CONDITION REPORTS Only three of the shelves are labelled, two with ivorine labels, he other a transfer label. Has general wear and tear to include surface scratching. Rusting to the metal work etc. The bottom shelf mechanism needs some attention and one handle is missing to the base. In need of a good clean - see images for further details No visable signs of wood worm.

A late 17th century tridarn, profusely carved, the carved frieze over top shelf on turned supports, two cupboard doors in upper section with central carved panel, initialled and dated I.C.A.C. 1694 and a floral carved rail over two panelled cupboard doors on stile supports, height 176cm, width 100cm and depth 54cm. CONDITION REPORT No visible signs of major damage, overall nicely presented, general wear commensurate with age and use, has been varnished throughout. From a private home.
Wisden (John) Wisden Cricketers' Almanack, an unbroken run from 1930 to 2014: 1930s: 1930, 1932 and 1933 rebound in hard brown cloth preserving original yellow wrappers (1932 with some loss to front wrap); 1931 lacking front wrapper but preserving rear wrap; 1934 to 1937 in original paper wrappers, spines weak, rear wrap of 1936 detached and 1937 rebacked, bat bookmark present in 1934 and 1935; 1938 and 39 in original limp cloth, fragment of bat bookmark in 1938, the whole preserved 1939 1940s: 1940 hard cloth binding very rubbed, with weak hinges and faded spine gilt; 1941 rebound in hard cloth preserving original limp cloth covers, internally very clean; 1942 original hard cloth, a good, clean and tight copy; 43-45 in rather soiled and stained original limp cloth 1946 to 2014: all original hard cloth, with original dust jackets from 1965 onwards. Shelf ware and signs of handling, spine gilts a little faded, crinkling to spines of 1957 and 1963, 1965 the rather soiled d.j. (the first issued by Wisden) with tatty extremities and sellotape reinforcing folds, some sunfading to d.j. spines of more recent editions Lot includes three large format volumes for 2006-2008 (2008 without slipcase, as issued). 85 editions in total, generally fair to good condition for a reading library of Wisdens. Includes the scarce World War II editions. Inspection highly recommended (88).
