A Fine Louis XV Style Tulipwood, Kingwood, Marquetry and Gilt Metal Mounted Bonheur de Jour, late 19th century, the marble top with pierced brass gallery above three glazed doors enclosing a silk covered shelf, the base richly inlaid with a trellis pattern of flowers and foliage above a secretaire drawer with velvet lined interior, raised on slender cabriole with gilt foliate mounts and sabots, 90cm by 53cm by 150cm In excellent cosmetic condition, polished and restored. Minor sections of veneer replaced. Gilt mounts good quality. With keys and working locks. Top drawer velvet interior rather worn and faded. Marble top with crack, otherwise very good. 160615
