Interflex Furniture - A bar cabinet on square tubular steel supports, with white button down padded vinyl back to one side and fitted with a central bank of three drawers and two sliding white laminate doors to the other, all above a shelf base, height 111cm, width 1257cm and depth 43cm. NB - This lot is offered for sale as a work of art. The padded back panel may not comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) Safety Regulations 1988 and for this reason should not be used in a private dwelling.
Shapland & Petter (Barnstable) - a circa 1900 mahogany and marquetry Art Nouveau display cabinet: three-quarter galleried top centred with a a central arch decorated with a mushroom-shaped marquetry formed from tulip motifs and flanked by two similar marquetry roundels; central bow-fronted glazed section with a half-height serpentine shelf, flanked by two further convex glazed sections; four outset turned columns flanking a central cupboard space with further conforming floral marquetry and serpentine front; each side with three vertical turned dividers; square-section lower legs terminating in square feet; the original brass lock stamped 'S. & P.B.' (LWH 114 x 40 x 197 cm). * Condition: In good condition overall, with good original colour and surface overall, with no fading. The top of the cabinet does have some scratching and wear to the polish across the surface. Key is present. Two small, sharp indents to the right hand edge of the lower shelf and a few small dings to the edges of the centre lower shelf. The back panel of this central lower shelf has a horizontal scratch towards the lower edge.
A Chinese painted and lacquered cabinet: probably early 20th century, the cleated, red lacquered top over a black lacquer base with a pair of cupboard doors with bronzed, half-moon handles, enclosing a single shelf, flanked by single short drawers, raised on stile feet, the front with painted decoration of precious objects, (LWH 158.5 x 51 x 83.5 cm) (Losses to lacquer and some restoration.)
A rare Charles I oak boarded mural cupboard, Gloucestershire/Welsh Borders, circa 1630 The top with chamfered under edge, the central one-piece door boldly carved with a leafy-filled lozenge, and punch-decorated and carved stylised ‘pomegranates' to each edge, below the carved initials ‘M’ and ‘R’, flanked by slender stiff-leaf carved fixed panels, enclosing a single shelf, plain sides, 52cm high, 54cm wide, 27cm deep.

Cotterell, sold with ‘Genuineness label’ and certificate no. 1383. Former Melvyn H. Rollason Collection Literature: Illustrated H.H. Cotterell, ‘Old Pewter Makers and Marks’, (1929), p. 78, pl. XIII (second from left) Exhibited: ‘Daily Telegraph Exhibition’, Olympia. London, July 19 to August 1, 1928. It is possible the measure is illustrated on the second shelf of ‘Dresser A’, illustration i, ‘Catalogue of the Exhibition’. Unfortunately, no distinction is made with regard to the types of measures illustrated, most are noted as belonging Walter Churcher and it would appear the measure entered Rollason’s collection in 1934, six years after the Telegraph Exhibition
A Charles I oak food/livery cupboard, circa 1630 Having a box top, the boarded top hinged at the centre, with double broad run-moulded frieze, atop a pair of triple-panelled cupboard doors, enclosing a single shelf, twin-panelled sides, on extended stile supports, height 115.5cm, width 132cm, depth 45.7cm Provenance: Sir John Gooch, Benacre Hall, Nr. Lowestoft, Suffolk Top boards principally appear original, but later hinged to the centre, having been originally hinged at the rear.
An Elizabeth I oak food hutch, circa 1600 The top of two plain boards, atop a front gauge-carved frieze moulding, and a panelled central door, the panel with dot-pierced petal-quatrefoil, the slender upright side panels with a dot-pierced guilloche design, enclosing a single-shelf, the sides with matching quatrefoil pierced design, 89.5cm wide, 44cm deep, 54.5cm high May have had a stand? Does not appear to have extended stiles that have been cut, although would have expected legs.
A late Victorian mahogany mirror-back sideboard, carved swan-neck pediment, above a serpentine-shaped bevelled mirror, and single shelf with turned baluster-form supports. The base having a pair of short drawers with art nouveau style handles, and two cupboard doors with carved panels, turned feet, 204cm high x 120cm wide x 48cm deep.

After Charles Locke Eastlake, an Arts and Crafts oak dresser, late 19th/early 20th century, the superstructure back inscribed with the Latin phrase 'COMEDE.CVM.LAETITIA.CIBVM.TVVM.ET.BIBE.ANIMO.HILARI.VINVM' (eat with pleasure and nourish thyself and drink your wine with happy lively vivacity), over two shelves, the lower shelf on bamboo simulated ring turned supports, upon the base with an arrangement of two drawers over an arched recess, flanked by cupboard doors upon plain rectangular bracket feet, 206cm H x 183cm W x 63cm DNB - see illustration 241 from C.L.Eastlake's 'Hints on Household Taste' published 1868
Led Zeppelin- Physical Graffiti early USA 1975 pressing, Swansong Records orange Promotional Copy- Not for Sale sticker on the front cover and purple tombstone shaped track listing sticker also to the front with original die cut lyric sheet and inner sleeves with run out matrix numbers side A- ST-SS-753309-B, B- ST-SS-753310-B, C- ST-SS-75331-B and D- ST-SS-75331-B. There are some signs of shelf wear and light creasing to the top of the album cover, one of the inner sleeve edges has come unstuck and the vinyl shows evidence of light marking on all four sides, possibly from the original inner sleeves.

The Sparks album is in very good condition and an excellent example of an album that is getting harder to find.
Blondie Parallel Lines original master recording which is a white label Chrysalis Records lettered label pressed on high definition Super Vinyl by the Victor Company of Japan with the matrix number MFSL-1-050-B5 inscribed in the run out. The cover is in excellent condition, showing little in the way of shelf or storage wear with the vinyl showing little visible evidence of marks or scratches, in keeping with the collection is translucent when help up to light and comes with its original Limited Editions for the original masters and lyric sheet inserts. This issue of the legendary Blondie album is widely regarded as one of the very best versions ever pressed, with superb sound quality, and not easy to find in this exceptionally nice condition.
The Rolling Stones, The Great Years Readers Digest four album boxed set 1982 Decca Records, original inner sleeves accompanied by Jamming With Edward, Rolling Stones records 1972 matrix number COC 39100-A2 and the Sticky Fingers Music Book featuring the score to each song on the legendary album including black and white shots of the band from the 1970-71 period, (one box set) The box set is in excellent condition with minimal age related or shelf storage wear and the vinyl shows minimal signs of wear, marking or scratches, the second album shows some water damage to the left side of the cover and to the back with evidence of storage wear with a light scratch between tracks 1 and 2 on the first side. The song book has slight fold damage to the bottom right hand side with slight water damage to the back and the usual age related wear.
A collection of eight pop, rock and progressive vinyl albums from the 1960s and 70s Including Traffic - John Barleycorn Must Die (1st pressing, pink Island label), Cinderella- Cliff Richard and the Shadows, Them- Featuring Van Morrison, Led Zeppelin- In Through the Out Door and Jethro Tull- Heavy Horses, Stormwatch, "A" and The Beast and the Broadsword, (8) John Barleycorn is a first press with some evidence of water and shelf damage to the sleeve with light marks and slight hairline scratches to the vinyl, but in generally good condition, Cinderella is good condition, as is Them ft Van Morrison and there is light hairline scratches and marks to In Through the Outdoor with all four Jethro Tull albums appearing to be in good order.
The Kinks' First album and The Kinks' Face to Face, Pye Records mono first pressings from 1964 and 1966 respectively, (2) Both have light marks and scratches visible on their playing surfaces as well as some evident spindle wear. There is some writing in pencil on the back of the first album and also in pen on its label. Both sleeves have tears as well as age related stains, discolouration and general shelf wear.
The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Are You Experienced Track Records first pressing laminated front cover with matt back cover numbered 612001, vinyl matrix numbers A- 612001-A-1, B- 612001-B-1 and non original inner sleeve. The front cover has some laminate creasing and slight damage to the bottom right corner, sleeve foot and the spine with the back showing some signs of age and shelf wear with the label being matt with some spindle wear and the vinyl showing some light marks and scuffs from the plastic inner of the liner and some light hairline scratches and the record plays well with some light background crackling, but no skips or jumps and is clear and strong in playback.
Eight classic vinyl albums from the 1960s and 70s including Otis Redding- Pain in my Heart, Bob Dylan- Blonde on Blonde, Deep Purple- In Rock, Deep Purple- Concerto for a Group and Orchestra, Pink Floyd- Animals, Incredible String Band- No Ruinous Feud, Sparks- Kimono My House and Average White Band- AWB, (8) Kimono My House is a first pressing with the Island pink rim label, as is No Ruinous Feud and the vinyl looks in excellent condition with few visible marks or scratches, Pain in My Heart is an early pressing on the plum and orange Atlantic label and all other albums are early issues with marks and light scratches to the playing surface, with all covers showing age related wear, evidence of shelf storage and light marking.

Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon original master recording which is a white label copy featuring the Harvest Records logo and pressed on high definition vinyl in Japan under licence from Capitol Records/The Gramophone Company with the matrix numbers x / Runout (Runout A, variant 6): MFSL-1-017-A 2-1 SR/2 211F and Matrix / Runout (Runout B, variant 6): MFSL-1-017-B2-4 SR/2 241 inscribed in the run outs. The vinyl is excellent with little visible evidence of any marks or scratches and in keeping with this superb series is translucent when held up to light, with the cover showing very light shelf wear with a slight crease in its bottom corner towards the spine. This is a great copy of arguably one of the greatest and most recognisable rock albums of all time from one of its most enduring and intelligent bands
The Beatles' Abbey Road album first pressing from 1969 matrix number A- YEX 749-2 , B- YEX 750-1 ,dark green apple label, "An EMI recording" is to the left hand side and "Her Majesty" is not listed as a track on side 2, the front cover has the drain visible on the crossing in the iconic photograph and on the reverse the Apple logo is aligned to the text and, once again, "Her Majesty" is not listed in the track running order. Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band is a reissue c 1981, 2x EMI box matrix number YEX 637-1 side A, YEX 638-2 side B and has its original inserts. The Abbey Road cover is in overall very good condition with minor evidence of shelf and age related wear and has 3/6 written in small figures and blue pen to the top right of the front, the vinyl has a nice sheen to it with a few very minor hairline scratches on side 1 and side 2 with both showing some finger marks and it plays through very well with minimal crackle or disturbance and no jumps or skips. The Sgt Pepper cover is in nice condition with very minor evidence of shelf or age related wear and the vinyl is in excellent condition with minimal marks or hairline scratches

The Beatles - Rubber Soul album, Parlophone records PMC 1267 Mono 1965, Matrix number XEX579-4 second pressing The vinyl is in excellent, condition with just a few light marks and age related wear that do not affect the quality of playback, there is some evidence of foxing on the label, but with minimal signs of spindle wear. The cover has some tearing to the bottom right opening and and the bottom of the back is showing signs of tape repair along with some slight marks to the top at the side of the MONO lettering and overall there is evidence of age related shelf wear.
