Flared edge cornice atop with carved dentil. The doors with inlaid detail and brass bound door edging. Measures 104cm high x 101cm wide x 55cm deep.

An Australian walnut tallboy by Peter Waals, 1930, the moulded projecting top and plain sides with visible mortise joints over a pair of doors with step moulded panels enclosing cedar lined interior with single shelf and with dished 'D' shape handles and walnut catches above three long flush fronted cedar lined drawers with projecting vertical handles over a pair of cupboard doors with step moulded panels and 'D' dished handles, on stepped and chamfered projecting feet, united by a bowed chamfered apron, 86cm x 50cm x 168cm.
