Pulitzer Prize-winner Caen's column for the San Francisco Chronicle was an essential compendium of the goings-on, gossip and diversions of San Francisco. The notes are both addressed to a Korki Dunbar, thanking them for ("Korki, that's a beaut!") for tips for the column.
