An 18th Century and later walnut and inlaid bureau bookcase With a cavetto cornice above a pair of crossbanded and herringbone inlaid cupboard doors enclosing three shelves, the lower part with a hinged fall front enclosing a fitted interior with an arrangement of five pigeon holes, two short drawers flanked by shaped ends with two graduated drawers, the lower part with three graduated drawers, later brass handles raised upon shaped bracket feet, with later alterations. 206x92x55cms CONDITION REPORT: Interior shelves are concave possibly shaped at a later date, later shelf supports on the left and right hand sides, veneer to sides are thin, hinged fall front, herringbone is narrower than the cupboard top which suggests it is a marriage, crossbanding to interior drawers possible later, old chestnut or oak linings, escutcheons and handles replaced, front three drawers have all been scrubbed down and repolished, repairs and replacement pieces to the crossbanding, later outset plinth and later bracket feet, surface scratching to the right hand side and left hand side, loppers (pull out to the fall front smaller in relation to the size of the top), top and bottom associated.
A Choice Edwardian inlaid rosewood and mahogany bureau cabinet circa 1900 In the manner of of Edwards and Roberts, with an architectural pediment centred with a satinwood flower head above a fretwork mirror panel, turned vase shaped finials above a fine inlaid frieze, depicting a two handled urn flanked by satin and stain wood half roundels above pendant harebell's and blooms. The lower part with a rectangular mirror above a fretwork gallery and a bevelled glass cabinet door flanked by an arrangement of open cupboards, two with mirror panels and glazed cabinet doors. The lower part of inverted break front form above a bureau with a finely inlaid marquetry panel, tied pendant harebell's fruit and blooms centred with a tableau of musical instruments, enclosing a fitted interior, a concave shelf enclosed by short doors and pigeon holes above a pair of cabinet doors finely inlaid with classical two handled urns, leaves and fruit above a shelf with a fretwork gallery. Flanked on either side by an inlaid frieze drawer and a glazed cabinet door with an inlaid panel with satinwood spandrels raised upon tapering legs. Overall inlaid satinwood, ebony and line inlays. 237 x153 x 56cms. (Illustrated)

An Edwardian mahogany and satinwood inlaid occasional table With a 65cm tray top centred with a satinwood open fan and enclosed with an inlaid border raised upon four slender out swept tapering legs joined by a circular inlaid shelf oval inlaid with lined inlays 75cm high. CONDITION REPORT: The circular top - the fluted gallery good condition, some surface scratching to the top, inlaid friezes around the edge good condition including stringing and checkering, the central inlaid satinwood fan good condition, some traces of the old chalk polish, slender legs no breaks in good condition, cross stretchers good condition, the central roundel inlay intact and no cracks, good condition.
A fine Victorian bowfront inlaid walnut gilt metal and blue Jasper credenza With an ebonised and incised frieze gilt metal border above a panelled cupboard door centered with a blue and white Jasper panel depicting classical figures against an ebonised ground and enclosed by walnut panels fitted with a blue velvet lined interior and a shelf flanked by gilt metal capped reeded classical columns, flanked on either side by a glazed cabinet door enclosing two shelves raised upon an inverted plinth base raised upon ebonised vase shaped legs, overall in laid with line inlays with gilt metal beaded borders (illustrated) 108cm x 163cm x 44cm. CONDITION REPORT: Lot 2126: The shaped top veneer in good condition, line inlays intact, ebonised minor rubbing on the outset column edges, frieze metal in good condition and intact, inlays to frieze good condition, bright right hand column, minor scratch to top of column, inlays in good condition, bowfront door glass good condition, beading intact good condition, shelves with blue lining good condition, beaded columns good condition, left hand glass door good condition, beading intact. Left hand outset column minor fading, plinth minor pieces of inlay missing approximate size 2cm x 0.5cm and again lower fading to plinth, two strips of brass beading missing beneath the reeded columns measures approximately 9cm, inlay below columns to square panel inlay bubbling slightly otherwise good. Minor scratches to right hand edge of out set plinth. Feet in good condition would appear to be original. Jasper plaque good condition, Original back in two panels, central interior original blue lined interior, minor ripping to the back of the cloth, some old staining, good condition. Internal depth of the middle section 31cm to edge of blue lining, lower part 26cm, upper shelf 27cm.
