A pair of Louis XVI style white painted arch topped armoires with carved foliate decoration on cabriole supports, each 101cm wide x 202cm high. Condition Report Good overall condition, some marks and scratches and dirty in places, the doors need attention to both armoires as the doors do not stay shut, painted hardwood and both have one shelf and a hanging rail. There is one shelf and one hanging rail to each - see interior photo.
A charming Swiss fruitwood and softwood musical box in the form of a chaletCirca 1896The musical movement playing six airs, with automatic selection, the underside of the internal velvet shelf inscribed in pencil 'From Mr Speranza, Rue de Rhône 37, Geneva / 9th Sep: 1896'36cm wide Condition Report The musical movement works. It is numbered 40606 and has a maker's punch mark. It is dirty and has lost the Geneva stop work from the barrel. This is in good original condition. The dusty and top surfaces are a little dusty (could be lightly cleaned with a paintbrush). A small section of gallery shelf is missing on the right side.
A large Boer War Vierkleur Flag. Size 152cm x 354cm. Maker marked to edge "JS Joubert". Has an old tag attached which reads "Vierkleurwhich flew over the town hall in Potchefstroom, Transvaal. Removed by P Coke, 6th Battl, Scottish Imperial Yeomanry, June 1900". Multipart construction. Together with a framed pen and ink drawing of the King Edward VII class Battleship HMS Africa. Overall size in original frame 240mm x 105mm. Frame designed to stand on a desk or shelf.

The bezel his hinged, no serial number visible to dial, stamped 20585 to the mahogany underside.The dial is slightly scratched, and is marked around the left winder.
