Lear (E), A BOOK OF NONSENSE, blue cloth boards, embossed gilt illustrated cover, gilt embossed title to spine, colour frontispiece, colour illustrated title page, illustrated limericks throughout, Frederick Warne And Co, London CONDITION REPORT:Bumps to all front corners, shelf wear to bottom edges and cover illustrations, some fraying to top and bottom of spine.  Frontispiece and title page loose but attached.  All pages appear to be present.  First pair of limerick pages detached and folded under at top.  One page repaired with gummed stamp paper. Some staining, wear and minor foxing throughout.

M.), SEE-SAW PICTURES - A NOVEL BOOK OF MOVING PICTURES, colour illustrated boards, red cloth spine, inscribed to front free endpaper, illustrated title page, six colour illustrated pages each with card tab moving elements of the illustrations, Ernest Nister, London CONDITION REPORT:The cloth spine is in good condition showing no tears or splits.  The boards show minor bumps to the top and bottom corners and shelf wear throughout.  The back board shows a scuff resulting in loss to the gloss finish approximately 5cm up from the bottom edge.  The front free endpaper shows a 1cm tear to the bottom at the spine.  The joint between the first story page and first picture page is open, but the pages appear to be securely attached.  All moving parts appear to be functional, however there are various small tears around the tab slots, with further small chips, tears and creases to the edges of the applied pictures and edges of the pages.  The bear floating in a barrel shows a torn loss to the item that should be in his raised hand.  The joint between the two final story pages is open, but the pages appear to be securely attached.  All pages show some discolouration and some foxing.  The binding staples are rusty, as are the rivets securing the moving parts.
