A Regency mahogany secretaire bookcase, the architectural cornice above a pair of bar glaze doors, with a secretaire drawer and a pair of panel doors below, 120 cm wide See illustration Condition report Report by RB Overall a good colour, slight warping to the glaze doors, with a couple of small sections missing to the bar-glazing, the serpentine shape moulding to the top left hand section of the secretaire drawer is detached, and incomplete, the interior has later felt lining, slight warping to the panel doors below, which enclose a shelf, and the back right hand leg is detached as the board it is on is riddled with worm and has broken off. There is a small area of loss to the back left hand section, where the bookcase is attached to the cupboard, and a split to the secretaire base on the right hand side. The Condition Report probably makes it sound and look a lot worse than what it is, 62 cm deep x 120 cm wide x 230 cm high. In two sections.
A 19th century oak dresser base, having three frieze drawers above three panel doors, on stile legs, 164 cm wide Condition report Report by RB The top is slightly bowed and split, with a section put in right the way across the back which is approx. 4 cm deep, some worm and splitting to side panels, the back is actually quite nice old and dry, with splits through faults in the wood, lacks central lock, couple of splits to panel doors, later handles, opening to reveal a later shelf. Overall much better than what it sounds and could just do with a good polish. 51 cm deep.
EARLY 19th CENTURY WELSH OAK POT BOARD DRESSER having stained three shelf boarded rack back. The base with three moulded edge frieze drawers on gun-barrel turned front supports with pot board standing on stile feet. Circa 1810. South Wales. 59" x 17.5" x 82" (150 x 44 x 208 cms). CONDITION REPORT: The rack back is stained and rather scruffy with later hooks. The base a good colour. The draw linings heavily worn. One shoe is loose.
LATE 18th CENTURY WELSH OAK FOUR DRAWER POT BOARD DRESSER having three shelf open rack back over moulded edge base with four moulded frieze drawers over a plain panel with gun barrel turned supports to the pot board on stile feet. c. 1790 South Wales. 84" x 84.5" x17.5" (214 x 215 x 44.5cm) CONDITION REPORT: The rack is poorly constructed and maybe a replacement or perhaps reconstructed. The base has good medium colour, noticeable opening to the boards of the top. Wear, tear and staining commensurate with age.
19th CENTURY WELSH OAK DOG KENNEL DRESSER having boarded three shelf rack back with original iron hooks, the base with three cock beaded drawers over an arched dog kennel flanked by two blind panel cupboards, on style feet. C. 1830. 56" x 161/2" x 75" (142 x 42 x 191 cm) CONDITION REPORT: General stains and wear commensurate with age, some scuffs to lower legs, a little lacking in patination and dry.
EARLY 20th CENTURY MAHOGANY CHINA DISPLAY CABINET in Georgian style having moulded dental cornice astragel glazed doors with fitted shelves to the interior, the base with long frieze drawer over two short drawers flanking central arch, under shelf below on cabriole legs. Circa 1930. 13" x 35" x 68.5" (33 x 89 x 174 cms) CONDITION REPORT: Overall good condition for age no serious damage or losses. A little grubby and dry in places.
EDWARDIAN MAHAGONY INLAID CORNER CABINET ON STAND having architectural pediment over cross-banded frieze with single cross banded and astragal glazed door below, fitted shelf to the interior, standing on a projecting base with cross-banded and inlaid decoration, pierced corner brackets, undershelf with foliate pierced part gallery standing on square tapering legs with spade feet. Circa 1900 - 1910. 13.5" x 16" x 74" (77 x 41 x 188 cms).
LATE VICTORIAN EBONIZED BARKERS PATENT SERPENTINE SHAPED OPENING COCKTAIL TABLE with lift out tray and gilt brass fittings, standing on foliate moulded cabriole type legs with circular under shelf, scrolled feet and brass castors. c. 1890. 46" x 29.5" x 24" (117 x 75 x 61cm) CONDITION REPORT: Minor wear and stains commensurate with age but no obvious damage or losses.
