A Victorian honey oak side cupboard in an early Flemish taste Featuring intricately carved frieze drawer with nicely cast gilt brass drop ring handle, above a recessed carved and panelled cupboard enclosing single shelf, flanked by turned pilasters, raised on stepped plinth base and flat bun feet, width approx 91cm. CONDITION REPORT: middle panel bows inwards, loss of moulding to top left column, some knocks, scratches and dents, loss of polish near bottom of door frame, rocks to the back right hand corner, otherwise ok. Depth 49cm, height 104cm, width 90cm
NICK DRAKE - BRYTER LAYTER - Working back in time with the heartbreakingly beautiful 1970 album from Nick, with another impeccable production from Joe Boyd. Island pink rim (ILPS 9134). The record is in outstanding Ex+ condition with perhaps one or two of the smallest, wispiest markings when viewed under very strong light. A-1U/B-1U matrix endings again. The textured sleeve is in VG+ condition with some shelf/edgewear, but no rips/tears to note.
THE PRETTY THINGS - S.F. SORROW - An outstanding condition original UK stereo copy of the revered 1968 LP, released on the striking black/blue Columbia label (SCX 6306). The 'Gramophone Co.' 'Sold In The UK' vinyl is in lovely strong Ex condition with just one or two very minor markings, only really seen at the end of track A5. The original gatefold 'inside flipback' design sleeve is in clean Ex condition with some minor shelf wear and a little ringwear on the reverse. A great copy.
DAVID BOWIE- THE MAN WHO SOLD THE WORLD DRESS SLEEVE - An original UK pressing of the 1971 album with the withdrawn 'dress' sleeve (Mercury 6338041). The record is in VG condition. There are surface marks, which are mainly seen on side 2, but these do not extend deeper and there are no scratches. The labels have spindle wear. MATRIX 6338041 1Y//1 + 2Y//1 endings. The sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is apparent edge and shelf wear, but no rips or tears to note. A very presentable copy of this hugely iconic record. Included is a dub of the LP copied onto CD.

Japanese cabinet with carved and pierced ledge above a two door cupboard, the central faux bamboo framed wooden panels, decorated with cloisonné panels depicting birds amongst fruiting branches, raised on four slender square section supports, stretchers,, 153 cm high, 96cm wide, 41cm deep, Meiji/Taisho CONDITION REPORT: Two panel doors with lift latch on the left door. There are five loose pieces and a key for this cabinet too. There is a single shelf inside and the interior is in good condition. Screws for the panels can be seen on both doors.Top - gallery appears ok. Four support pillars, one has small piece missing to the top. top lacquered surface is scraped and there is is a large bruise to the front cornice, (mid right hand door) a square around 1.5cm square.Front doors - scratches particularly to the centre carved edging, very scratched and bruised top right hand side of left door (from opening). Left side panel has bruise at mid left hand back edge and some scratching. 'Tray' support rubbed at front corners. Slight nibbles to front 'tray' edge. Stretchers sound but scraped/scratched front rail. Legs - carved corner braces are missing on the two back legs, on both edges. Two side panels for back are present. Both side carved braces at front are missing although small part of brace remains at right hand side.Supports sound but slightly scraped scratched.

Bindings a little rubbed but actually, given the nature of the books, the bindings are tight, creasing to top of spines and shelf wear to edges but not torn. Original dark blue cloth, presentation edition, with a motor-car and boat steering wheels impressed in gold to the front cover. Spine titled in gilt, end-papers with illustrations of club badges. Edges are uncut. Very minor shelf rubbing to bottom edge and spine with slight creasing. (1)

Volume 1, 2, 4 & 5 in publisher's bindings with replaced spines on volume 1 & 2. Volume 3 rebound in a complementary 'yellow' cloth, with a black title on the spine. Well-illustrated with text figures, detailed line drawings, event listings and monochrome photographs. The pages in very Good, clean condition, the original bindings a little soiled and shelf-worn. L'Album du fanatique de L'Automobile (1966 to 1983). A long bound run of this French magazine, initially published quarterly in octavo format (1966 to 1968) and then monthly in quarto size from January 1969, the run ending with issue number 177 for June 1983. The magazines are uniformly bound, with their covers, in eighteen volumes in brown cloth, with leather labels to the spines with gilt title lettering. Each issue is well-illustrated, mainly with black-and-white photographs, but with more colour in the later numbers. There is some fading to the spines from shelf storage, but the set is otherwise in excellent condition. (18)
