A Victorian walnut marquetry Canterbury, with fretwork gallery, foliate marquetry top, three divisions and raised on short turned legs. Width 61 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The brass gallery is loose. The top is generally flat with only very minor scratches and old marks. The moulded edge is in good condition all round. The four turned supports and middle shelf are in good order. The door closes as it should. It is very slightly warped but not enough to be problematic. There are some minor nibbles to the ebony finish just below the fall front door. The legs are all original and have the original castors. We can see no evidence of any woodworm.
An Edwardian inlaid mahogany standing corner cupboard, with swans neck pediment above a pair of glazed doors enclosing shelves, the base fitted with a further pair of glazed doors and all raised on short cabriole legs. Width 71.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Height 209 cm. The cabinet is in generally good order. The swans neck pediment and cornice have no issues. The frieze beneath is in good condition also. The doors close as they should and we have the key. There is a slight warp at the bottom of the right hand upper door. This could be significantly improved as the closing mechanism of the lock keeper is worn on the left hand door. There is no broken glass. The lower doors are in good order with no warping. The lock escutcheon is missing. The internal shelves are all loose and the shelf supports require attention. The cabriole legs are original and in good order. There is no evidence of any worm.
