A pair of walnut open bookcases in the Georgian manner, the figured feather-banded and cross-banded tops over an open painted shelf unit with two adjustable shelves on a plinth base, 81 cm wide x 30 cm deep x 94.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The bookcases are relatively recent in manufacture and whilst the tops show some signs of apparent denting and scratching, this may well be contrived i.e. deliberate ageing, though there is some minor surface scratching which may come out with polish. The shelves appear to have a slightly dirty look though this again may well be contrived and part of the original paintwork to give the appearance of age. Otherwise the pieces appear in good condition.
