Y A Regency rosewood and specimen parquetry work box, circa 1820, with flanking gilt brass handles, 9cm high, 21cm wide, 16cm deep, a toleware stationery box, the lid enclosing a divided interior housing a pair of glass inkwells and containing a small quantity of vintage writing equipment, 5cm high, 20cm wide, 14cm deep, and a mahogany wall hanging candle box, of traditional tapering form, 50cm high overall (3)Condition Report: Parquetry box:Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, some surface marks and dirt, the interior with silk lining to the lid, base, and sides, this is with dirt, stains, and discolouration - would have originally had a shelf - this is missing, one of the supports to hold this is detached but is present with the lot. The lock appears original but there is no key, it is open at time of report. The base is paper covered - this with wear. Regency style 19th century sideboard, mahogany with ebony and boxwood stringing, a central bow fronted door with geometric stringing over an open recess, a single door cupboard to either side with oval banding, the right-hand cupboard has a zinc lined drawer, the back board with oval mirror, single shelf and fan inlay, the whole on square tapering legs and spade feet, height 164cm, width 152cm depth 60cm, (one key which fits the right-hand cupboard)
