An assortment of five retro vintage 20th century wicker bamboo items. Measures approx. 71cm x 43cm diameter.
A well carved Victorian mahogany chiffonier, the shelved superstructure with ornate carved acanthus leaf and scroll pattern frieze, the lower section with single cushion drawer above a pair of glazed panelled doors enclosing a single shelf, raised on carved scroll and fluted supports on paw feet, 97 x 53 x 175cms high.
An early 18th century feather banded walnut bureau bookcase, with moulded cornice and two glazed doors, over two candle slides and the fall enclosing central door, pigeon holes, short drawers and a well, above two short and two graduated long drawers, on bracket feet, width 96cm depth 57cm height 198cm***CONDITION REPORT***Relatively recently repolished and now of an even mid walnut brown tone, probably some small damage to the top left corner of the cornice, upper doors look to have had some reconstruction, have an old but not original lock and no key, internal shelves to the upper section also look to be adapted with a large section cut out from the upper shelf, what looks to be the original lock with a working key to the fall, interior looks good. Drawers are oak lined with old but probably replacement locks and replacement handles. Feet are later.
