Both repolished and refinished with some knocks, scratches, and marks throughout. Small areas of cosmetic repair and evidence of restorations and some later timbers. Some small splits and repairs to veneers and moulding. General knocks to supports with some fading and discolouration. General wear to drawers and cupboard interior. Some knocks to feet as expected with small repairs. Drawers run smoothly. Joints are sound and solid. Overall, they appear in fair structural and cosmetic condition and are perfectly usable.

Both doors not secured and are loose in the frames; repair needed. Only one interior shelf present, which is warped and re-fitting is recommended. Otherwise, with general knocks, wear, splits, chips, and losses to the veneer. Some cracks and looseness to mouldings. Small amounts of cosmetic repair and replacement. Surface wear, marks, dirt, and patina. Some moulding lost. Ormolu escutcheon is later. Tarnish and discolouration to brass feet. Back casters replaced. Joints are generally sound and solid; however, the piece would benefit from some professional attention.

A pair of Regency brass ormolu mounted rosewood side cabinets with variegated red marble tops, the frieze set with lion mask ring handles over two silk pleated doors flanked by stop-fluted columns and enclosing a single adjustable shelf, on toupie feet, 95cm wide, 32cm deep, 91cm high Both in good condition having been restored some years ago, now perhaps slightly faded but otherwise still in fair to good order, the tops have a small inverse break to the front and may well be later, ormolu somewhat oxidised but all looks to be present, comes with one key working the locks.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place.
