A William IV rosewood breakfront side cabinet, the serpentine arched back with a single shelf and foliate & scroll decoration, over a frieze with carved lappet decoration and single central drawer, over four cupboard doors with fretwork panels, divided by barleytwist and foliate brackets, over a quarter moulded and ball lower border, raised on four paw feet, 74½ x 17½in. (189.25 x 44.5cm.), 54in. (137.2cm.) high.
A French Louis XVI style rosewood, kingwood and parquetry bonheur du jour, 19th century, the top with pierced gallery, over a serpentine diamond parquetry fall and conforming serpentine frieze, the fitted interior with three drawers, a shelf and a well with sliding cover, raised on angular cabriole legs with foliate ormolu mounts and sabots, 36¼in. (92cm.) high, 29 x 17¼in. (74 x 44cm.).

Ltd. miniature Reference Library, various publisher's for Asprey, all in black morocco to gilt titles to spine, including a Dictionary; French and English Dictionary; Encyclopaedia; English Quotations and Proverbs; French and Latin Quotations; Gazetteer; Classics and Mythology; and Atlas, on the original walnut miniature bookshelf, 8in. (20.4cm.) wide; together with a similar set of six Charles Dickens novels on a card shelf. (2) * Condition: - Asprey library: Spine creasing and some wear to head and tail of spine to Dictionary. Spine a little loose to Atlas. Overall good. - Dickens: Some wear to edges and corners of card shelf box. Toning and small bumps to edges of boards. Good overall.
