Fine quality George IV mahogany side cabinet with a gilt brass spindle gallery above three glazed doors, the base with a moulded top above three rectangular panelled doors flanked by reeded pilasters on turned and fluted bun feet (the original wooden shelves to the upper section present but currently replaced with glass), 60ins wide CONDITION REPORT There has been alterations to the top section by way of glass shelf and lining. No signs of major damage or repairs. No splits to sides and all in very good condition. (Original wooden shelves have been kept with the piece, so we do have them). Glass on top doors is new, not original, whether it had wooden panels originally is hard to say. I believe it had a turned wooden spindle gallery originally, as you can see the holes beneath the brass gallery.
