A Victorian mahogany secretaire bookcase with glazed panel doors, the single drop down front drawer having turned wooden handles, interior writing slope with an arrangement of walnut fronted drawers and pigeon holes, twin lower cupboard doors on a plinth base, 106cm wide x 54cm deep x 229cm highAll over fair condition with scuffs, scratches and wear commensurate with age and use. Upper section with all glass intact. Moulding base to upper section with damage to right ride as pictured. Secretaire interior with scratches, stains and scuffs to writing surface, handles to secretaire drawer replaced. Lower cabinet with one adjustable shelf only, base reeded moulding with slight losses, later feet.
An Arts & Crafts style oak bookcase and desk with a shelved superstructure and an arched cornice and with an arched desk surround carved with leafy sprigs, above a desk with three frieze drawers above an arched carved apron, the sides with lattice incised panels framed by a scale carved surround99.5cm wide, 70cm deep, 174.5cm highOverall good to fair condition, circa 1890-1900. the top panel cracked to the left side but present. Small carved inset panel to right front base missing and another moulding to right side on top of desk section missing. Shelf panels a little loose. Key present for drawers, locks possibly of later date. The top of the desk faded. All over scuffs and scratches commensurate with age and use. Slight moisture mark to back of desk, no visible ring marks noted.
A Regency rosewood side cabinet, the green veined marble top above a decorative parcel gilt frieze, enclosed by a pair of grille doors and flanked by free standing columns with gilt metal mounts, 101.5cm wide, 50cm deep, 90.5cm highOver all good condition. Marble in overall good condition with a few surface marks and scratches and small losses to underside of back of marble. The back clean with no splits. A couple of minor chips to wood to back corners of plinth with one small piece of moulding loose inside the cabinet. Lock replaced. Sun fading to columns. left column plinth support with joint moving. Single shelf to interior lacking shelf supports. Gesso frieze moulding with minor old restored cracks.
A Victorian walnut credenza, the arched mirror back above a marble top, the base enclosed by three mirror panelled doors, 136cm wide, 45cm deep, 163cm highAll over good condition. Sunfaded veneers and solid wood elements. All over light scuffs, marks and wear commensurate with age and use. original marble top and mirror plates. Marble top in good condition with very light edge chips and surface scratches. Scattered discolourations. Doors and locks in good working order with two keys present, each of the three cabinet sections with a shelf. The plinth base with scuffs and wear. Marble top, cabinet and mirror section can be separated. Mirrored superstructure in good condition with original mirro plate. Fading and signs of wear. carved crest a little loose but n good unrestored condition. Mirror plates all with some corrosion and tarnishing.
