A 19th Century Apprentice Piece Miniature Mahogany Bureau. The fall front inlaid with mother of pearl diamonds opening to reveal a fitted interior with wavy shelf and shaped bracket dividers. The two short and two long drawers having turned knobs and small mother of pearl inlaid drawers. Standing on bracket feet. 13 ins (33 cms) in height, 11¼ ins (29 cms) in width, 8½ ins (22 cms) in depth.

Each screen having a moiré fabric rectangular panel above a gallery rail of gilt brass spindles with a shallow hinged shelf to the front and ring-turned faux bamboo side supports leading down to outswept legs carved with foliate decoration and united by a padded foot rest 15 ins (38 cms) wide, 45 ins (115 cms) high.
