A joined oak dresser, circa 1800, with a two-shelf rack under a moulded cornice, fitted with three frieze drawers, turned supports with a pot-board base, length 170cm, depth 46cm, height 205cm.Condition report:The top colour is really quiet faded and dull, with patches of dark grease marks to the edges and corners. Old repairs and replacement sections to the back planks and plate rack moulding. The drawer linings are fair - all sound, some splits but still functional. Old repairs to the drawer fascias and moulding outlines. The pot board has heavy staining/ scorching to the righthand side. Colour is again fairly pale and dull. Heavy wear (possibly through old insect activity) to the back of the front left hand turned support. The central support looks replaced or repaired at least. The rack has gaps between the back planks and rubbing marks where items have been stood against the back leaving paler shadows against the darker colour of the wood. Old repairs and existing splits, mostly natural, throughout.

Sections of the spindle gallery missing (mainly to the back). Fretwork missing in several areas including the sides, doors and borders. Structurally sound. Signs of wear including scratches and marks consistent with age and usage. Would benefit from a clean. No obvious restoration.

Heavily worn with splits to the wood, knocks and scratches. Knobs have been replaced. Previous signs of worm. Several stains to the top and insides of drawers.
