A 19th Century birds eye maple and ebony break front wardrobe, of large proportions, the centre section fitted sliding trays, shelf, two short and two long drawers, and enclosed by a bevelled mirror panelled door, flanked by hanging end sections, fitted base drawers, raised on a platform plinth, 240cm wide x 224cm high
DURUTTI COLUMN - THE RETURN OF… - A great presented copy of the debut release from the band released on Factory (FACT 14) which is issued in the striking sandpaper sleeve. (The sleeve) was inspired by Situationist Guy Debord's book 'Mémoires', which was housed in a sandpaper cover to destroy other books on the shelf- and it is alleged that Ian Curtis glued most of the sleeves together whilst the other members of Joy Division were watching an "adult film". The record is in Ex condition with just a few quite light surface marks. MATRIX: FACT 14 4PBG A1 + B1 (SOUND CLINIC) etched. The sleeve (with no spray paint) is in Ex condition with very little sign of wear.

A walnut and stylised floral inlaid hanging cupboard, early 20th century, with pierced gallery, above central vacant shelf flanked by panelled cupboard doors, with bracket foot and hook to side, a possible conversion from a miniature apprentice piece, 58.5cm wide, together with another corner cupboard inset with tiles decorated with figures of Macheath and Polly Peach (2) CONDITION REPORT: some domestic wear and losses, overall in good condition

A 20th century oriental floor standing cabinet, having applied bone & mother of pearl decoration in relief, the four door upper section above a triple shelf recess, over four door cupboard and five drawers, all on four rectangular supports, 123cm x 195cm Condition Report: Overall condition good, however, five doors need repair to pins and hinges. Small pieces of the applied decoration are or have suffered slight damage.
GEORGE NELSON [1908-1986] FOR HERMAN MILLER WALNUT & ENAMEL CABINET, MID 20TH C., H 30", W 56", D 18": Fitted with a single dark orange cabinet door opening to one adjustable wood shelf, and four graduated drawers of dark orange, on painted black feet. Signed with applied metal manufacturer's label to drawer, "George Nelson Design Herman Miller Zeeland, Michigan" [see additional photo]; stamped model number 4712 underneath.
STEWART LINFORD: 'THE CATHERINE OF ARAGON LAMP TABLE', of pollard and burr oak, with a square top with pronounced column corners and carved frieze and frieze drawer above a shelf stretcher, 22.5" wide. See illustration. A suite of 'Catherine of Aragon' furniture was made by furniture maker Stewart Linford, from timber grown in the grounds on Kimbolton Castle, where the Queen lived. Provenance: Private collection, Dorset. Purchased direct from Stewart Linford in 2003 for £4,900.

A very fine Arts and Crafts period/style mahogany Display Cabinet by Shapland and Petter of Barnstaple, North Devon, (and in possible collaboration with Wylie and Lochead, Glasgow), the decorative designs influenced by Glasgow school designer E A Taylor (1874-1951), Scottish Artist, Etcher, Stained Glass Designer and Furniture Designer, the three quarter galleried superstructure with Art Nouveau style marquetry motifs and single shelf and with square supports above a moulded serpentine fronted shelf above central leaded light glazed door enclosing conforming serpentine shelf and flanked by two panelled angular panelled doors each with individual specimen wood marquetry of trees and water etc., the hand made silvered strap hinges as sinuous toadstools, with similar marquetry panelled sides and two recessed arched shelving display areas below accented with pierced heart motifs, on stile feet leading to downswept rectangular feet with bun style terminals, the central leaded door opening to reveal original retailers label of A. Gardner & Son, 36 Jamaica St., Glasgow, (Gardner & Son are know to have retailed Wylie and Lochead furniture circa 1900), in fine good and original untouched condition, 143cm wide x 173.5cm high x 44cm (deepest point to centre)
