The stop fluted pilasters capped with scrolling foliate corbels, 91 ins (231 cms) high, 60 ins (153 cms) deep.

The tester panelling replaced with ivory silk fabric in a moulded frame having daisy head lunette carving peppered with punchwork running along the top rails The head board composed of a dentil moulded top above a band of foliate carved S-scrolls and two arcaded upper panels centred by lozenge motifs with a broad well-carved dividing muntin, a dentil moulded candle shelf and four plain base panels below. The run moulded uprights embellished with chip-carving. The baluster turned posts leading down to square canted base sections. The side beams drilled for rope holes.

A 17th Century Joined Oak Spindled Hutch Cupboard. The edge moulded top above a lunette carved frieze and two twin panel doors hung on iron H-form hinges with small turned peg-knop handles. The open upper panels filled with a row of seven ball & baluster turned spindles, the lower panels with foliated lozenge carving & punchwork embellishments. The interior fitted with a planked shelf drilled with perforations and having a bowl aperture to the centre. Standing on low square stile feet, 36 1/2 ins (93 cms) high, 39 ins (99 cms) wide and 19 1/4 ins (49 cms) deep.

The top section having a moulded frieze with a central scrolling acanthus pendant finial above two supports with foliate carved cup & lobed cover turnings leading down to the central shelf of repeated design and on to a planked base joined by run moulded rails, measuring 49 ins (125 cms) in height, 43 ins (109 cms) in width, 17 1/2 ins (44 1/2 cms) in depth.

A Fine 16th Century Inlaid Oak Buffet. The thin single plank top having a moulded edge above an inlaid zig-zag frieze bordered in bands of stringing with central & side block appliqués carved with leaves. The supporting front posts carved in the form of a man with bible and woman holding a skull. The rear stiles adorned with split spindle appliqués and leading down to a mid frieze section fitted with a long drawer and inlaid with zigzag bands echoing the frieze above with a scalloped under-ledge. The square block legs leading to a base shelf and ornamented with split spindles and inlaid bands, 45 1/2 ins (115 cms) high, 44 1/2 ins (113 cms) wide and 17 ins (43 cms) deep. A similar Court Cupboard illustrated in The Dictionary of English Furniture Vol.II, pg.178.

An Impressive 17th Century Oak Buffet. The double plank top having a moulded edge and a border of carved flowers beneath. The top frieze enriched with s-scrolls & foliate engraved forms with two faceted pyramidal appliqués at either end. The cupboard section with two panel doors unusually carved with a central thistle beneath an arch and floral corner tridents, flanking a central deeply set panel carved with a rose within a deep carved arch and scrolling vine carved vertical panels either side. Below, a guilloche frieze adjoins the large tenon blocks carved with foliate lozenges that meet boldly turned bulbous legs, the feet beneath supporting the run-moulded side rails that form the lower plank shelf. 47 ins (120 cms) high, 57 ins (145 cms) wide and 20 ins (51 cms) deep.

The square door panels centred by daisy wheels emitting diagonal spurs of graduated triangles with geometric motifs to the sides defined against a recessed matted ground. The door frames enriched with bands of chip carving and hung on iron butterfly hinges. The uprights with further chip carved decoration between a moulded top & base. The concave fronted internal shelf edged with a bentwood strip, 19 ins (48 cms) high, 39 ins (99 cms) wide and 10 ins (25.5 cms) deep.

The upper frieze ornamented with a row of S-scroll crosses and leafy quatrefoils above a central door flanked by arcaded side panels. The door panel having an applied carving of woman within a gadrooned frame. The side panels centred by relief carved head & shoulders of men under boldly carved arches. The dividing pilasters adorned with demi-lune flower heads above pendant leaves and small square panels of strapwork centred by wrythen whorls. The end panels gouged with guilloche knots and having scalloped bands enhanced with punchwork running down the stiles. The heavy bulbous front supports carved with acanthus to the cup turnings capped with gadrooned covers bearing square Ionic scroll capitals. The rear stiles embellished with strap work arabesques and leading down to a pot shelf below on carved & run-moulded rails. 57 ins (145 cms) High, 54 ins (137 cms) wide and 18 ins (46 cms) deep.

A Fine Mid 17th Century Carved Oak Buffet. The top having a moulded edge above a row of applied diagonally cut dentil blocks, a frieze fitted with two lunette carved drawers and supported on bulbous side posts; the cup & cover turnings enriched with flower heads and acanthus leaves. The cupboard door centred by a protuberant flower-head radiating petals in a gouge carved frame embellished with punchwork. The canted side panels carved with fanned blooms, daisy wheels and curved leaves defined against a recessed ground. The mid-way frieze having a long drawer with lunette carving reflecting the frieze above, and boldly carved base moulding raised on cup & cover front posts enriched with layers of imbricated leaves and acanthus leading down to a pot shelf below, 46 ins (117 cms) high, 49 ins (125 cms) wide and 18 ins (46 cms) deep.

The pedimented top with a carved central cartouche, sweeping down to canted sides adorned with inlaid marquetry panels of flowers.
