A fine Edwardian rosewood and marquetry inlaid Ladies cylinder Bureau de Dame, with three quarter pierced brass gallery, above a roll back tambour front and an oval satinwood inlaid top, with an oval fan, within scrolling leaf sprays and hanging bell flowers, opening to reveal a tooled leather writing surface and three short drawers, pigeon hole and pen compartments, the double action frieze drawer also opening the tambour top, on square tapering spade legs, united by a concave stretcher shelf, 93cms h x 74cms w (36 1/2' x 29'). George III mahogany washstand with Minton pottery accessories, including a jug and bowl, another bowl and two soap dishes, height 78cm.Condition report:Some of the veneered outline to the top is missing, back left corner when looking down stood in front of the stand (see image). Otherwise the stand is generally ok. The top of the drawer shelf looks to have been reglued at some point, but the uprights and cross-stretcher are sound. The Minton set - the oblong covered dish is crudely reglued with both parts being heavily damaged. FIne crazing and wear to the decoration and gilt borders to the other items, but they are generally ok and the large bowl fits well in the recess.
Victorian walnut three-tier corner bracket, quadrant shape, with fretted scroll work, height 87cm, width 40cm.Condition report:Some breaks and losses to the scrolled fretwork to the lefthand side just above and below the top shelf. Otherwise the rest of the fretwork is complete and free of damages. The shelves with some old marks, scratches and slight colour variation .
