MICHAEL HURLEY - 1ST PRESSING LPs. Fantastic selection of 3 x original US pressing LPs featuring the magical Michael Hurley (and his pals!). Titles are First Songs (debut 1964 on Folkways, FG 3581 - well presented VG+ record with just a couple of light surface markings with certainly nothing heavier and no scratches/complete with original insert/VG+ neat original sleeve with some shelf/edgewear), Armchair Boogie (Warner/Raccoon WS 1915 - Ex+ exceptional clean vinyl, complete with 'comic' booklet entitled 'Boone & Jocko In The Barren, Choking Land'/VG+ some shelfwear, the reverse is signed in pen by Michael!) and Long Journey (1976 Rounder Records 3011 - Ex+/Ex).
DR STRANGELY STRANGE - KIP OF THE SERENES (UK ISLAND LP ILPS-9106). Ever so hard to find original UK Island pressing of another Joe Boyd produced special, the 1969 LP Kip Of The Serenes from the outstanding 'acid' Irish Folk group (ILPS 9106 orange/black bullseye label). The record is in superlative Ex+ condition with very few markings to the playing surfaces - there is perhaps just some extremely faint residue on the run-in (this is being extremely pernickety!) Signed 'with love' on the reverse by founding members Tim Booth and Tim Goulding. The sleeve is in Ex condition with some minor shelf/edgewear, none of which is serious.
