Lintel shelf is broken into two pieces. The whole is disassembled into shelf, top section and two jambs- remnants of old mortar to reverse Both jambs are drilled with remnants of wooden pegs and scored marks- possibly formerly for screen fitment? The holes do not go through all the way through. Surface wear and loss throughout- notably to margins and to base of jambs Please see additional images for visual references to condition which form part of this condition report. A VICTORIAN PAINTED PINE SIDE CABINET 19TH CENTURY With a raised shelf, the doors enclosing shelves 125cm high, 119cm wide, 42cm deep Condition Report: Various and numerous marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, splits and cracks, chips and losses, wear and rubbing to the surface, in places down to the underlying timber. Signs of of rot and loss to the lower portions - this probably had feet previously but these have longsince gone. A POLYCHROME DECORATED SHELF MOROCCAN, 19TH CENTURY 11cm high, 179cm wide, 9cm deep Together with seven 19th century narghile bottles, mostly Bohemian coloured flash glass produced for the Ottoman market the tallest 31cm Condition Report: THE SHELF:Overall there are some scratches, marks, knocks, cracks, abrasions and minor repairs consistent with age and use.There are some losses, restorations and observations including: some red wash staining where the polychrome paint has flaked to reveal the underlying pine; the finish of the ends suggest that the original shelf was longer or that the shelf was originally part of interior fittings; some cracks to the left end; the polychrome paint has craquelure, and the flaking corresponds to this; the brackets with some later pins and screws; there is some evidence of old worm; the back has an indecipherable pencil inscription, possibly the name 'Muy Mommelly'.THE BOTTLES: Yet to be inspected for condition report.Please see the additional photographs as a visual reference of condition. An early 20th century mahogany bureau bookcase, the central fall-front section fitted with simple fitted interior, above a panelled door with single shelf flanked by a pair of arched top glazed bookcases, raised on squat cabriole supports to ball and claw feet, 129 x 118 x 31cm.Condition Report: - Overall used condition, showing signs of wear throughout, including scuffs, scrapes, fading, staining, etc. The fitted interior has some damage - most notably to the front edge of the internal section. The right-hand steady bar bracket has been ripped out and the resulting opening and closing of the bureau with the bar falling free has damaged the right-hand front edge of the pigeonholes.
