A Victorian rosewood Canterbury whatnot, the pierced three quarter gallery above upper shelf, Canterbury lower section with single moulded drawer and ring turned legs to brass caps and castors, width 61cm. CONDITION REPORT: The back pierced gallery has been cracked in one area but re-glued. one of the tuned moulding to hide screws is missing and the other is loose in drawer. Surface wear commensurate with age.
A 19th century carved ivory and bone miniature pianola cabinet and chair, French or Indian, the pianola on four inswept concave legs with cloven hoof feet, the panels finely carved with open fern and scroll decoration, the front opening to reveal a single shelf and fabric lined back board, painted black keys and manuscript, two mounted candlesticks, together with carved and pierced chair, 4½in.
