An armoire / wardrobe with central mirrored arched door flanked by two slim panelled doors opening to reveal hanging rail, a shelf and three internal drawers to base CONDITION REPORTS In used condition with knocks bumps and scratches throughout and some splits, chips and losses. Some pin / nail holes across top arch possibly where there might also have been some further decoration (now missing). Some slight variations to the colour to the doors with the narrow flanking doors appearing slightly darker. Some deterioration to the mirror plate. Size approx 165 cm wide x 60 cm deep x 213 cm high.

A lacquered Kodansu, c.1885, the top lacquered with flowers on rockwork, each side with a cockerel and a hen under bamboo, the two sliding panels to the top section with flying cranes and mother-of-pearl inlaid recessed handles, the front cupboard with two eagles on branches, with Mount Fuji in the background, opening to reveal a shelf and five drawers, copper-mounted brackets, mounts and hinges with side carrying handles, the key cast as an entwined snake, 49cm wide 31.5cm deep 46.5cm high on a later stand 76cm high (2) CONDITION REPORT: Sliding doors with mother-of-pearl replaced. Gilt rubbing throughout. Some small chips to door edges.
