A 19th CENTURY BIEDEMEIR SECRETAIRE CABINET, the rectangular top with moulded rim above a long frieze drawer, the leather tooled fall front opening to reveal an open shelf flanked by tapering columns with an arrangement of drawers, the base with panelled doors on outset plinth, 157cms x 104cms x 46cms.
A Georgian oak sideboard, later two shelf plate rack with trefoil detailing to the corners, the base section with five drawers, plate brass handles and arched apron, raised on four turned supports to the front and two square section to the back, joined by a full width pot shelf and block feet, 175 by 44 by 199cm high.
An Arts and Crafts ebonised striking shelf clock, signed Kleyser & Co, 69 Boro, High St, case front door with carved leaf and flower heads and inscribed in gilt Tempus Fugit, sides with four bevelled glass panels, 8-inch dial with Roman numerals, twin fusee movement with anchor escapement and striking on a gong, 61.5cm high24.04.17, Ebonised surfaces are rubbed and discoloured in parts, gilt paint is faded in parts, case with small scratches and dents, later backboard, glasses are stained in parts, front door lock is loose, dial with small scratches and is dirty, numerals with wax missing in parts, movement is dirty, no pendulum.
A mahogany and ebony strung washstand, in the manner of Gillows, early 19th century, of bowfront form with a three-quarter gallery above three frieze drawers, raised on turned and reeded tapering legs with brass capped toes and castors joined by a shaped undertier, 107cm by 52cm by 78cmVariations in colour, slightly faded, three quarter gallery small repairs and shelf, a long natural? splits drawer which has been partly filled and polished, structurally sound.
