A 19th century and later oak sideboard, the sideboard back with stepped pediment over three panelled carved floral back, with four brackets, lion head finials over shelf, on two-door cabinet base with carved geometric panelled doors, a marriage of two pieces of furniture and not one unit, height 190cm, pelmet at top 96cm. CONDITION REPORT It has been screwed together in places, some wear marks to the polish. The base is a little bit rickety.

A George III mahogany kneehole writing desk with string inlaid lift-up top enclosing a multi-section fitted interior, many sections with mahogany covers with strung borders and brass ring handles, over false drawer front, a small slide-out pen tray with shaped apron over recessed cupboard enclosing a single shelf, the cupboard door with cross-banded border and inset oval shell decor, flanked by three small drawers with brass swing handles, to bracket feet, 80 x 91 x 60cm. CONDITION REPORT Some of the veneered border on top is wrinkled and split in some places, some of the joints on the top are smiling. There are some old age-related splits to the right and left hand sides, as to be expected. The internal fitted area possibly missing a middle slide section. Missing screws to the hinge. The back shows a repair to the bracket foot. Overall, a good piece of furniture, which just needs some slight attention to get it to showroom condition.Key available in office

An early 20th century oak Arts & Crafts style bureau of small proportions, carved frieze above astragal glazed door, with one interior shelf, to drop-down desk top, with series of pigeonholes, over three drawers with original teardrop metal handles to shaped bracket supports, 169 x 63 x 41cm.

Lot 36

An early 20th century Oriental black lacquer coffee table, mother of pearl figures and hand painted temple scene under glass, mother of pearl figures to the curved rim, above a single shelf to ornate dragon head supports, 42 x 103 x 52cm. CONDITION REPORT There are scratches to the glass, losses to the lacquer, heavy dirt and stains. Further losses to the lacquer of the stretchers and supports. Losses to corners, some further losses to top. With some pronounced scratches. Overall, would benefit from attention and restoration, with further general wear throughout. There are splits through all four of the supports, just to the side of the knee section and these are probably joints which have become more pronounced over the years and now appear like splits.

INTERFLEX, LONDON; a pair of 1960s retro teak bookcases, one with a central sliding glass door enclosing a single adjustable wooden shelf flanked by pair of sliding panelled doors enclosing a pair of adjustable shelves, the second with the same layout, but the central section has two glazed shelves, both raised on circular tapering supports, each 75.5 x 136.5 x 28.5cm (2).

MINTY; a mid-20th century retro teak glazed bookcase with pair of glass sliding doors with two adjustable interior shelves, raised on tapering supports, 86 x 69 x 29cm. CONDITION REPORT Overall solid but used condition, there are some screw holes to the left hand side possibly suggesting it was attached to another bookcase at some point, there is a line of fading visible to the left hand side, there are only five of the adjustable shelf brackets, will require three replacements, further surface wear to include scuffs, scrapes, staining etc, some nibbles to the lower part of the frame, lower frieze and legs

A 19th century mahogany library bookcase, the cavetto cornice above twin glazed panel doors with acanthus leaf corner spandrels, enclosing three adjustable shelves, the base with moulded top and twin panelled doors with conforming acanthus decoration, raised on a plinth base, 130cm wide x 59cm deep x 230cm high.Condition report: Cosmetic marks to the exterior consistent with age and use.  Base top front right edge has a small split.  Base top front left corner has a very small veneer patch.  Interior fair to good with some marks to the shelf tops consistent with use.

An inter-war period mahogany open bookcase, the moulded top above five fixed shelves, each with a dust flap, raised on bracket feet, 107cm wide x 33cm deep x 151cm high.Condition report: Solid mahogany top, sides and shelves - not veneered. Some scratches to one side front edge and adjacent edge of shelf, evidently feline. Structurally sound overall. Other minor cosmetic marks and scratches consistent with age and use.

An Edwardian Sheraton Revival satinwood and painted corner display cabinet, painted with floral swags and bows, and interlocking trails of hare bells, the outswept pediment over a glazed door, enclosing two shelves, above a cane paneled door, set with a painted plaque of putti, opening to reveal a single shelf, raised on bracket feet, 190cm high, 54cm wide, 33cm deep.

Single drawer to the frieze with copper stylised drop handles and backplates over a stencilled inlay inset panel cabinet cupboard door opening to reveal an adjustable shelf interior. Further stenciling to the interior with All raised on shaped arched legs. Measures approx; 103cm x 62cm x 40cm.
