SUE RECORDS - 60s COMPS/LPs. Providing the full story with this wonderful selection of 6 x LPs featuring 5 x always tricky to locate 60s comps. LPs are The Wallace Brothers - Soul Connection (ILP-950 - glossy VG+ with a couple of light surface marks/VG solid condition 'matte' sleeve with shelf/edgewear though no rips or tears), The Sue Story (ILP-925 - VG/VG+ and London/Sue comp HAC 8239 - VG+/VG+), Volume Two (ILP 933 - solid VG/VG copy), Volume 3 (ILP 938 - G+ copy) and Soul '66 (ILP 934 - Ex/VG).
(SOUL) - ISLAND RECORDS 60s COMPS. From one Chris Blackwell brainchild to another, here we have 3 x killer LPs! Titles are Doctor Soul (ILP 943 - nice Ex record/VG+ neat sleeve), The Unfolding Of The Book Of Life (1LP-993 - VG+ slightly faded and a couple of light scuffs/VG+ some shelf wear) and Club Soul (ILP 964 - well presented VG+/VG+ with some light ringwear on the reverse).
Ross, C H (ed)"Judy, or The London Serio-Comic Journal" vols 1-51 (not necessarily complete), all with red cloth, gilt titles, spines worn. 'Ally Sloper' was Ross's comic creation and he first appeared in 'Judy' 1867; from 1869 it was drawn by Ross's wife, Emilie De Tessier and featured the first serial comic strip depicting Sloper's adventures as the paper's war correspondent (bought as seen, 1 shelf)

A Victorian walnut and gilt metal mounted dwarf display cabinet with square edge to top, the front inlaid with floral marquetry, fitted one shelf enclosed by a single glazed door, with gilt metal brackets to sides and on bracket feet, 30ins wide x 12.75ins deep x 40ins high (top marked and with some veneer loss)
