A walnut pedestal desk, late 19th/ early 20th century, 77cm high, 147.5cm wide, 73cm deepCondition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and useThis should have a shelf to the rear which is not present with the lot and has never been with Dreweatts, the brackets to hold it are fixed to the recess to the rear side The rear side is 'finished' this desk is designed to sit central to the room (or it could be pushed against a wall if desired). All the drawers to this side are 'false'. A loss to the veneer to the venture of the writing plateau. Metal mounts with tarnishing and rubbing. Surface scratches and wear to the base mouldings, overall tired and in need of attention.
